DOES ALL WOOL ITCH? ABSOLUTELY NOT. In fact, the science behind wool is pretty simple. If a wool fiber has a large diameter it will be itchy. Large diameter fibers are derived from low-quality wool. If a wool fiber has a small diameter it will feel extremely soft. Small diameter fibers are derived from high-quality wool.
